Hello, I salvaged some stepper motors from several old printers (https://www.oyostepper.es), but their wiring colors don't seem to match any known specifications I can find. Is there any easy way to determine the correct order in which to connect them to a motor controller like the L293D? The motor in front of me has four wires: orange, black, yellow, and brown. I feel like I've tried all possible combinations and tested them in the Arduino's stepper_oneRevolution program, but most of the time the motor vibrates and jitters uncontrollably. I know these wires should be paired in pairs, but which pins in this program correspond to which two pairs of wires on the motor? Hopefully this question is helpful! |
